Liz Grimes – Receptionist
Liz is in a committed relationship, she has 2 children and 2 pets, Mousse-
chocolate lab and Autumn-a Bengal cat. Before coming to Creekside, Liz was a
manager for Papa John’s Pizza for over 5 years. She is a high school graduate
and has some college classes completed while still working on others. Liz was
born and raised in Georgia till age 13 then lived in TX, FL, CA, and OH, before
moving back home to Georgia to stay.

- What is the most fun you ever had outside of work? I love watching my daughter play
soccer.
- What do you love to do outside of work? I enjoy camping and spending time with my
family.
- What do you like most about your job at CAH? I enjoy my coworkers and meeting and
assisting new clients.
- What do you like least about your job at CAH? I dislike watching people, especially
children dealing with the loss of a pet.
- What is the strangest thing you have ever done for work? Not sure

- Describe an interesting tidbit about you? I don’t really like to share—but I love to know
what is going on.

Debbie Adams – Hospital Administrator/Co-owner of Creekside Animal Hospital
She is married to Sam. They have 3 son, Sam Jr., Chantz & Zach. They have 1
grandson, Chantz Jr. and 2 dogs, Bo and Ace. Debbie was born and raised in
Franklin, TN. Before opening Creekside, Debbie worked as a Medical
Technologist in many laboratories through the years. She graduated from
Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Medical Technology then
graduated from Mississippi State University with a Master of Business
Administration.

- What do you love to do outside of work? I enjoy spending time with family
- What do you like most about your job at CAH? I really enjoy the people I work with, they
truly make Creekside a great atmosphere for employees and clients
- What do you like least about your job at CAH? Difficult situations with employees and
clients
- What is the strangest thing you have ever done for work? When I first started working in
the research lab at MSU-CVM, we went to an emu farm (late August in south Mississippi-can
you say HOT?) where it was my job to dance for the emus to make them poop then pick up
the poo and label it for further testing. Gotta make a livin!
- Give 4 words that describe you: Honest/ Dependable/ Results-oriented/ Enjoy-life
- Describe an interesting tidbit about you? I was responsible for most of the background
work to bring Creekside Animal Hospital into existence, from finding the land, securing
financing, to overseeing the building--- the end result, what you see today.
Lori Hanes – Office Manager
Lori is married to her husband, Tim. They have 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren, 3
dogs (Sadie, Hunter & Shadow) and 1 cat (Kali). Previously, Lori worked with
Dr. Adams for 6 years before the opening of Creekside Animal Hospital. Lori
was born in Hemet, CA, grew up in Kentucky, then moved to Georgia in 1995.

- What is the most fun you have ever had outside of work? Going on exciting getaways
with my husband, Tim.
- What do you love to do outside of work? Spending time with my family, going rock-
crawling with Tim, working in the yard, gardening, DIY projects and playing & sleepovers with
the grandbabies!
- What do you like most about your job at CAH? I love the relationships that I develop and
maintain with our clients and co-workers on a more personable level.
- What do you like least about your job at CAH? When clients are trying to deal with a loss
of their family pet.
- What is the strangest thing you have ever done for work? Not quite sure
- Give 4 words that describe you: Independent / Optimistic / Family-Oriented /
Tenderhearted / Happy. OK- so counting is not my specialty!
- Describe an interesting tidbit about you: I am learning how to relax and enjoy life more
instead of trying to take care of everyone else.
- What fictional character are you most like? “Shrek” (“I have layers like an onion.”)
