Dr. Sam Adams – Veterinarian/Co-owner of Creekside Animal Hospital

Dr. Adams is married to Debbie, they have 3 sons, Sam Jr., Chantz and Zach, 1
grandson, Chantz Jr. and 2 dogs, Bo and Ace. Before deciding on veterinary
medicine, Dr. Adams did many things little boys dream of doing, trained
horses, was a butcher, drove a big truck, sold real estate and was an
auctioneer. He spent his early years in Franklin, TN and his Jr. High and High
School years in Flowery Branch, GA.  Dr. Adams graduated from Johnson High
School in Gainesville, GA, earned a BS in animal science at Middle Tennessee
State University in Murfreesboro, TN, and earned a DVM at Mississippi State
University in Starkville, MS.

  • What is the most fun you ever had outside of work? A family vacation in Hawaii

  • What do you love to do outside of work? I rest and vegetate in my recliner

  • What do you like most about your job at CAH? I love taking care of pets and forming
    relationships with clients

  • What do you like least about your job at CAH? Not being able to save them all and
    disappointing owners

  • What is the strangest thing you have ever done for work? During a sales call while
    selling boots in Oklahoma, I stopped at a drive through petting zoo and was attacked by an
    ostrich while sitting in my car trying to feed the animals

  • Give 4 words that describe you: Caring/ Hardworking/ Blunt/ Honest

  • Describe an interesting tidbit about you: I have a family that supported me while pursuing
    a dream of being a veterinarian as a “late bloomer”

  • What fictional character are you most like? Some say Scrooge and others say Andy

Dr. Solveig Evans – Veterinarian

Dr. Evans has 4 cats, Tucker, Grape, Jaspurr, and Kenney, 4 dogs, Mallory,
Sam, Mambo, and Chippie. She was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA.
During her high school and college years, Dr. Evans worked as a Veterinary
Assistant. She did her undergraduate work at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA
in Animal Science. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary
Medicine, located in St. Kitts, Caribbean.

  • What is the most fun you ever had outside of work? Hiking in Hawaii with her brother.

  • What do you love to do outside of work? Quilt, read, and hike

  • What do you like most about your job at CAH? Taking care of pets

  • What do you like least about your job at CAH? Unhappy clients

  • What is the strangest thing you have ever done for work? Forensic investigations

  • Give 4 words that describe you: Loyal, caring, honest, dependable

  • Describe an interesting tidbit about you? I lived on an island in the Caribbean for 3 years
